Veterinary/Technician Assistant

 

You:  Hardworking individual looking for part-time or full-time employment in a veterinary clinic. Interested in working with avian and exotics, along with dogs and cats.

Us: Fast paced, cutting edge, 6-doctor small animal and exotics practice.

 

Sound like a good fit?

 

Hours:  Part-time (15-25 hours/week) or Full-time (35-40 hours/week)

Includes evenings and weekends.

 

You must be willing to work hard, learn new things, and work with reptiles, birds and pocket pets.  You must be able to lift up to 25-35 pounds.

 

Work Responsibilities include:

- Keeping hospital clean and sanitary

- Assisting doctors and technicians with procedures

- Lifting, handling and restraining animals

- Caring for boarding animals

- Communicating with clients

 

Openings available in 2012

 

Experience in Vet/Animal Facility preferred

 

Pay scale based on experience and availability
